Eric Sanders was born in Washington, D.C., and raised in the northern Virginia suburb of Alexandria. He attended Boston University and American University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus in Real Estate and Urban Development

Eric started his career in Real Estate in downtown Chicago while at the same time actively trading financial futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for eight years. Eric moved to Austin to work in the sales and leasing division of Ely Properties in 2000.

As the senior agent at Ely Properties, Eric has sold and leased condominiums, single family homes, town homes and duplexes. Eric has represented numerous buyers and sellers and finds that building personal relationships helps clients meet their needs successfully.

Eric enjoys camping, skiing, and white water rafting. Eric has taken numerous cooking classes and enjoys entertaining and grilling with friends and family in his spare time. Eric has spent time volunteering with groups that work with underprivileged children in the Americas and the Middle East.
